Links show index.php file

    I’m creating my first WP site from scratch. I’ve created my index.php file, a header file, and couple of other files that represent different pages. They are all uploaded to WordPress.

    I’d like to link to these pages in my header. I’ve created the header links with HTML. But when I open the site and click on a link the URL changes, but all I see is the index page. I’m clearly missing something but have no idea what. Let me know if you need more information.

    Hi there,

    It sounds like that you are creating WP site which is self-hosted with WordPress.ORG software. Here is the forum for WordPress.COM user. WordPress.COM is a little different from WordPress.ORG.

    Please describe your problem here and ask help.

    Lastly, if you are not sure about the difference between WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG, please read this instruction.
