Linking wordpress account from old account o new account
-
Dear Support,
Good day, as a website owner and web developer, I have configured 2FA on my old account ((email visible only to moderators and staff)) which is linked to Google Authenticator, however, due to my old phone got damaged really bad where I can’t retrieve any data from it, therefore, lost my access to my Google Authenticator to access WordPress account, moreover, I tried the backup codes all of them and none of them seems to work, therefore, I have created a new WordPress account ((email visible only to moderators and staff)) where I want to link my WordPress website to it, the link is https://www.trendzprint.com or if you can disable the 2FA on my old account so I can regain access and relink my website to it again or disable the old account and link my website to the new account. Please advise as this is very critical for my online business and it is affecting it badly in terms of protecting it from getting hacked or brute force.
Regards,
Mohamad

My issue is I want you to disable 2FA from my old account as I can’t log in back to the account

Hello there,
Ok to check, are you looking to disable this for: https://www.trendzprint.com/ ?
Many thanks.

No Sir, I want to disable 2FA for my wordpress account which is (email visible only to moderators and staff)

If you open an incognito window, and go to https://wordpress.com/log-in/, enter the email address, and then down toward the bottom, click the
email me a login link
and one should be sent to your email address. Screenshot: https://d.pr/i/yVh54X -
Dear Sir,
Good day, something happened, it is asking to provide a verification code from 2FA (Google Authenticator)

What meant was that same thing where it is asking for a 2FA code from my old phone which is not working anymore and can’t retrieve anything from it & if I click on “I can’t access my phone”, then it asks for the backup codes and I have tried all of them and none of them work.

Well, I had hoped since the Jetpack plugin is connected and showing no issues that you would be able to log in from here.
At this point, I would suggest contact the web host for the site, and ask them if they can disable the 2FA on the site so that you can get logged into it. We have no way of doing that sort of thing.
Best of luck for a speeding resolution.
