Layout crashes?

    Heyho,

    I’m quite new with WordPress so I hope you might help me.

    Besides some other things (not to mention here), I wonder why with nearly every theme I try, the layout seems to crash on any article page. more precisely, while on pages, blog and anywhere else the sidebar appears on the right, if it’s an article it happens as follows:
    under the text the comment area is moved slightly to the right, under this area the items follow the items meant to be on the sidebar. where the sidebar shoul show, instead tags, category, and next/previous post show up. and I really don’t get why. I didn’t touch custom css.
    as I just had a look at the code of an article page (http://schallundrauch.traumschlaeger.com/2017/138/), it seems like <footer class=”entry-footer”> and <nav class=”navigation post-navigation” role=”navigation”> changed places.

    similar happens also on many other themes, so I’m even more puzzled.

    I hope you can give me some advice – I’m about to delete all and start over from scratch for I am so stumped.

    Aloha tsk13, It looks like you are working with a self-hosted WordPress.org site instead of the WordPress.com-hosted version supported here.

    I would recommend searching on the WordPress.org support forums for similar issues. If you cannot find anything that works, you can start your own thread. The forums are completely separate from each other, so you will need to register an account there if you haven’t done so already.
