Jetpack showing server could not communicate

Error Details: The Jetpack server could not communicate with your site\’s XML-RPC URL. If you have the W3 Total Cache plugin installed, deactivate W3 Total Cache, try to Connect to WordPress.com again, reactivate W3 Total Cache, then clear W3 Total Cache\’s cache.

We are not using any Cache plugin and have tried enabling/disabling the plugins but the error remains.

Please first reinstall and reconnect Jetpack to your WordPress.com account. If you continue to receive error messages regarding XML-RPC first ask your hosting provider if they’re blocking that file. If your site’s XML-RPC is not being blocked, then I suggest disabling all your plugins (except for Jetpack) and try again.
