Italic text for some reason…
-
I just added a new page to my blog. It works as expected. But all text around it appears in italics, which is not the case for my other pages. See the diffrence:
Normal: http://bottomup.wordpress.com/
Italics: http://bottomup.wordpress.com/problem-statement/Am I doing something wrong here? Thanks in advance.

The only thing that I can see in italics is the headings wheere you’ve got the H3.1 H3.2 (for example).
Everything else appears to be ok.
Did you change something since you posted?

No I still experience the Italics, did not change anything. It applies on the sidebar, the bar at the top (‘Howdy’) and the footer. In the text I use some italics like you mentioned, but that is just my text.

This is the right place. Your view is as it’s supposed to be. I experience the problem in Firefox, not in IE. The sidebar is in italics. Is your screenshot taken from IE or Firefox?
I appreciate your help Collin.

It was taken in IE. Hang on, I’m at home now, I will have a look with Firefox and Opera.

Well, that’s that question answered – it displays in italics for me in Firefox, but Opera is fine.
Like you say, it’s only the one page too.
Just had a thought. Edit the text on the page and see if you’ve missed a closing em (italic) tag. I suspect that is where the problem lies and Firefox is displaying correctly while Opera and IE (with their usual way) is not playing.

You were right. Still a bit strange though, I had this before my last paragraph closing tag: <i /> An opener and closer in one, did not know it could influence any outside the paragraph.
Thanks for your help!
