Is there a master list of HTML Entities Permitted by WP?

Back in October I asked a question about the HTML entity for 1/3

It is “edited” by WP and changed to include the ampersand escape word, followed by frac13;
There is a reason that the entities have names. They are easy to remember. But every time I need to use an HTML entity that WP doesn’t understand, and so leave alone, I have to go look up the hex code equivalent.

HTML entity works on WordPress.com. You have to switch to the Text (HTML) tab of the editor to enter it, else it won’t work.You can read more about how to use the HTML editor here:
