How to make a page of filtered posts?
-
All I want is a page dedicated to my podcast posts. How do I make a page display a single category of posts?

A great way to do that is with a custom menu with either Post Tags or Post Categories as the menu item.
Creating a custom menu:
- First, check out our instructions at http://support.wordpress.com/menus/.
- Go to your Menus page (Appearance > Menus).
- Add a name for your custom menu and hit the “Create Menu” button.
- Once the page refreshes, you can add Tags and Categories to your menu on the left side of the page.
- Then set the primary navigation option (located at the top left of the page) to be your new menu and that will replace the default menu.
Please check out our support documentation on Tags and Categories at:

PERFECT!!! Thank you so much, that was exactly what I was looking for. I was a little confused at first because I did not read your instructions carefully. I thought every “custom menu” I added would add a link to my menu bar. But what you have to do is create ONE new “custom menu” and add all the links you want to it (in my case I added a podcast link which simply displays only the posts assigned to the category “Podcast”, and an About link which just links to my About page. Then (and this part I thought was a little clunky but maybe I did it wrong) I added a “custom link” and typed in the address to my main page, the blog). Then the most important part, make sure you set the “primary menu” to this new menu bar you made. Worked great. Thank you again mkoenig514! here’s my site for anyone who wants to see
