  I need to know how to put a vote in the sidebar of the blog, like a widget, or something, so that users can vote and see the result

  In this case, it’s a mature blog (i went looking) and hosted on WordPress.com

  And, yes, we can use Polldaddy widgets in both a sidebar and in the body of a post or page. http://en.support.wordpress.com/polls/ Not certain about which languages are supported (other than English).
