  I’m trying to figure out how to add a sidebar in the custom editor. There’s nothing that indicates that there is a tool for one either.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  The Sophisticated Business theme has a single widget area called the Footer, which appears below the site’s content just above the footer. It can’t be moved to a sidebar area.

  @alex9234 can you clarify what page you’re trying to add a sidebar to?

  Ideally when the block editor is fully fleshed out, you should be able to add sidebars with it, so if you’ll tell me more about what you have in mind, I’ll pass the info along.

  Also, for most posts and pages, you can use reusable blocks plus columns to create a sidebar effect. We have more details on reusable blocks here:
