Getting http://r-login.wordpress.com/remote-login.php is blocked by proxy server

We have our blog set to use our own domain, blog.castlelearning.com. We do this so that our users do not have to open up their proxy servers to wordpress.com. However, when a link to blog.castlelearning.com is pressed I see that the following GET is made and is being blocked.
http://r-login.wordpress.com/remote-login.phpWhy is it trying to login and how can I prevent this?

Well, if you are logged in to WordPress.com, the request is just passed through there to verify it.
