Gaps Between Images
-
Hello there!
I am using the Veni Theme for wordpress, and there are large gaps between images, and I want to make them smaller.
Would you be able to advise me on how to do this? :)Thanks so much

Just add this custom CSS
body.masonry-layout .site-main article {
padding-left: 10px;
padding-right: 10px;
}You can change the values as per your requirements.

Unfortunately, that didn’t work, I need to change the top and bottom values though? So that they are onto of each other closely, Is that maybe why the code isn’t fixing it? Thanks

Hi @ezamck, can you give us a link to a page where this occurs? I see you have made some mosaic images and inserted them on your Vienna part 2 page.
Looking at the html or that page, all of your content is within divs, and that will present a problem since it will make any images, that are adjacent to text above or below, have no space between the images and the text. Did you copy and paste this content from another source, such as another website of yours?

That was an old post, so I’m not sure if this makes any difference? Here is the content I am referring to:

Thanks for the link. There is bottom and top margins on the images (full and align left/align right. Add the following and you can adjust the 0.5em value I’ve used. It was originally 3em top and bottom.
.entry-content :not(.wp-caption) > img.size-full:not(.alignleft):not(.alignright) { margin-top: 0.5em; } .entry-content :not(.wp-caption) > img.size-full { margin-bottom: 0.5em; }
