    I was wondering if there is any way to place a footer on my website stating

    “Potter Plotters is not associated with J.K. Rowling, Warner Bros., or any of the individuals or companies associated with producing and publishing Harry Potter books and films.”

    It would help with problems that may occur in the future. Thank you

    You can place that disclaimer in a text widget and place it in your sidebar which in that theme happens to be in the footer area, but you cannot access the footer and place it there, like you can do on a Blogger (blogspot) blog.

    The other alternative is to create a static page titled Disclaimer and place it on the page. In that case the “Disclaimer” will be displayed at the very top of the blog with your other pages in alphabetical order.

    I would choose the second option.
