Flashing boxes when trying to write new post

Help please. Ever since yesterdays update, there are flashing grey boxes at the top fo the screen when i try to compose a new post. It hangs before returning an error. Its doing the same when i try to click ‘edit’ on pages.
Issue appears connected to block editor , rather than classic.
Im using Safari as browser (though its doing it in firefox too) and have the latest Mac OS system installed MacOS Catalina v10.15.6 (installed the same day). Cookies and cache cleared but still unable to post.

Hi @paulveverka, could you clarify what updated? Also, is this for the site you linked? I noticed its content hasn’t been updated recently.
