“Featured posts” in Inuit Types

Add topic to favorites
Hello all. In the new Inuit Types theme, I’m wondering if there is a way to designate specific posts as your “featured posts” — or if “featured posts” will always be the most recently published posts. Thanks!

I can’t find any way to pick and choose which posts are featured.

As far as I can tell, “featured posts” are the most recent posts.

The designation in the theme design is misleading: the mindset is
“featured” = “new”

This an illustration of how using a longer word is less accurate than using a shorter more straight forward word.
