Email address not accepted

Add topic to favorites
For some reason unknown to me or the blogger in question my email address (email visible only to moderators and staff) is not recognized as valid when I enter it to ‘follow’ two of this blogger’s sites. I don’t know if you would be able to tell me this or not … but I have no trouble on other blog sites or on this bloggers main one… the ones that will not accept it are the ones I’ve linked to. Are you logged in or logged out of WordPress.com when you try to follow those blogs?

Update….. after submitting this to WP… I had an idea.. so I went back to both sites and tried to ‘follow’ by the lower right corner ‘follow’ icon instead of the follow on the sidebar…. when I did so on the imagings of a grateful man site… although I got the message that the subscription was not successful…..re email address…. when I went back and hovered near the follow button it said ‘following…….. ” BUT when I tried the same thing on the ‘a grateful man’s poetry’ site… it did NOT work and Jennifer I was logged in to WordPress….. Thanks Diane

Most importantly , please do not bump this thread unless you have new information to give them since threads marked for their assistance are normally handled on an “age” basis, meaning oldest first. Weekends tend to be less visited by Staff, so hang in there.

Do you also encounter this issue in a different browser? for example Internet Explorer or Google Chrome?

Alternatively you could go to http://wordpress.com/following/edit/ and enter the blog address to follow in the field at the top of the page.

Well, I went to Internet Explorer (I use Firefox normally) and it did allow me to ‘follow’ so while I don’t understand the reason why this particular blog was different… ‘mission is accomplished”…. thanks for your help… Diane
