    I created an address ((email visible only to moderators and staff) ) which is redirected to my gmail address.
    I would like, from my gmail account, to be able to send messages with this new address as the sender ((email visible only to moderators and staff)).
    When I go to the settings of my Gmail account (account and import / send emails as) I get the window:
    SMTP Server: smtp-fwd.wordpress.com Port 587
    Username :
    Password :

    If I put the username and password that allow me to connect to WP I have an error message: “Unable to reach the server. Please check the server and port number. »

    I tried with the other 2 ports offered (25 and 465) with no more result

    What is the procedure to do this?

    At this time, forwarded email addresses cannot send email.
