  I am desperately trying to create a dropdown feature with pre-made topics that would populate a pre-made list for each topics.

  Hello!

  Your reference site might not be a WordPress site, but in WordPress, your example would be the equivalent of a site menu linking to posts or pages.

  The information at the link includes an animated demonstration of adding links to pages in the site menu.
