DNS Settings in WordPress not found by GoDaddy
-
GoDaddy.com wants a TXT record. I set it up in WordPress, but GoDaddy can never see it so I cannot set up email.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Have you seen the following support document for adding GoDaddy-hosted email to a WordPress.com site?
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/add-email/add-godaddy-email/
If you are still having a problem, let me know, and we can take the next troubleshooting step, once I get more feedback.
-
Yes. I’ve tried all those steps and I’ve talked with GoDaddy Support many times. In fact, they tried a utility to see of the WordPress settings show up elsewhere. The finding was negative.
I cannot get my business email working till WordPress DNS settings can be seen elsewhere. Thanks.

I don’t see any of the recommended DNS records for adding GoDaddy email to your site, either at present, or in your DNS records revision history.
Please try following the instructions outlined in our support document:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/add-email/add-godaddy-email/
If you’re still having an issue after you’ve implemented the changes the instructions specify, let me know, and I will assist you.

@pmciano
The OP keeps posting in another thread on this same issue. I thought I’d better cross-reference it for you so you can see his latest reply there: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/dns-settings-in-wordpress-not-reaching-the-internet?replies=5#post-1989349 -
I just added all those settings in your support document, pmciano. Let’s give it till tomorrow and I’ll have GoDaddy test it.
-
@kokkieh Thank you for the heads-up :-)
No MX records were entered, so I’ve added them for you. Please allow up to 24 hours for the changes to take effect.
-
I spoke with GoDaddy support this morning, because it has been four days since the settings were added. GoDaddy said they could see the MX records but not the very important TXT records.
They also said the settings were wrong. I set these in WordPress and I will check early next week with GoDaddy support.

If you’re still having an issue after 24 hours, let me know, and I will continue to assist you.
-
Thanks. I will have GoDaddy test to see if they can see the WordPress DNS settings on Monday. That should give them plenty of time to process.
-
I called GoDaddy support this morning and I asked them to test if they could see the DNS settings at WordPress. They said they could not see the MX and TXT settings, which are the most important for email.
How can we fix this? I’m also happy to give you my customer number and password for GoDaddy if you wish to talk with them.
-
I set the DNS settings on Friday 8/15. GoDaddy said they should have updated on Saturday, but they still cannot see them.

I’ve been trying to get by business email working () for well over a month. I’ve pretty much decided that the problem is WordPress, because the WordPress DNS settings are not being seen by GoDaddy.
I need help from WordPress with this please. Please help me.
-
I can see your TXT records, but no MX record was entered.
Before we proceed, I am going to reach out to Go Daddy to confirm the DNS records that need to be entered for your email to properly work.
Thank you for your patience.

I’ve been trying to get (email visible only to moderators and staff) working for almost a month. It is my business email, so i’m anxious to see some progress. Thanks.
-
I understand.
I still have not heard back from Go Daddy, but once I receive a response, I will let you know.
Also, I’ve added $26 in credits to your WordPress.com account.
Thank you for your continued patience.
