Different background Colors

    I have the RYU for my blog.My last two post’s have a green background color. I’m not sure how I did this and how to change it back. I want the white background that exists on background prior to my post “2015 has been great!” I also want to ensure that when I make my next post it has the white background any ideas?

    Hello @carsoniam,

    It looks like the theme, Ryu, has a special feature for image posts where it will automatically match the background color to the first photo uploaded for the post. See the 2nd paragraph under “Image post format” of the theme’s info page here: https://wordpress.com/theme/ryu

    If you set the post type to be ‘standard’ instead of ‘photo’ on those existing posts for example, the background should remain white.

    To do this, go to the blog post you wish to edit. On the right side of the post editor, look for Post Format with a drop down option and change from Image to Standard. See screenshot.
