Did not receive email activation link

I tried to set up a Gravatar using a different email address then the one I am currently signed in under (because that other email address is the proper one for the blog I have launched).
But, I did not receive the email activation link. Is it possible to resend the link?

Suggest you check your Spam/ Junk folder.
If you are using Gmail and have tabs (e.g. Social, Promotion etc) on, check all tabs. Additionally, in the case of Gmail see the troubleshooting guide at https://en.support.wordpress.com/email-notifications/gmail-issues/ page.
If you are not using a generic email address (i.e. Yahoo! or Gmail) check with your service provider if emails from WordPress.com are blocked?

I did that before posting this query. At the time, I was switching from Gmail to a hosted email provider so I am afraid it was somehow lost in the transition.

Sorry for that. Log out of your WordPress.com account and try resetting your WordPress.com password from http://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword&wpcom_connect=1 page. Resetting your WordPress.com password will automatically verify your account.
If this also doesn’t work please wait for someone from support staff to come back to you on this. I see that this thread is already tagged for support staff.

Can you confirm whether you’re trying to add an email to this account, or confirm an address on a different username?
If you’re adding an extra email, you should be able to do it here — even if you’re doing it a second time:
https://en.gravatar.com/emails/If you’re struggling with a different account, please share the email address for that account (only staff will see it). Or better yet, log in as that user, then post here.
