    We dropped from a premium package on judithwesterfield.com, to get to our site you need to do wordpress.westerfield.com instead. We just received a notice that judithwesterfield.com won’t be continued because we haven’t paid for the domain name. Since we are not using that but we are using the domain name with WordPress in the domain name I am confused about what we need to do please help

    I checked your site, and I see that you canceled your Premium plan on Nov 29 (and that the refund was issued).

    Speaking of your site URL — the domain was connected to it (judithwesterfield.com), but it seems to have expired (unrelated to WordPress.com).

    The domain connection will automatically be removed from the site on January 27, 2024.

    Since we are not using that but we are using the domain name with WordPress in the domain name I am confused about what we need to do please help

    In this case, you don’t have to do anything unless you want to renew the plan you canceled for your site.

    I transferred my domain name http://www.sarahacoaching.com to WordPress today when I created an account, but now in order for someone to go to my site, they have to type in http://www.sarahacoachingcom.wordpress.com This is not what I want. Unless I can use http://www.sarahacoaching.com which is my domain name, I am unable to use WordPress.

    I just checked and found that visiting the domain https://sarahacoaching.com loads your WordPress.com site for me. If this isn’t happening on your computer, it means you will need to wait a bit longer for the DNS changes to take effect. Your domain is configured properly and is loading your WordPress.com site without the visitors having to type in the WordPress.com address.

    thank you. That is working now. It appears that there is now an issue with my email. I just noticed that I have not received any emails to my (email visible only to moderators and staff) email address – which I have with Google Workspace, since signing on with WordPress. Emails seem to be working now – but I have two questions: (1) where are all the emails sent to me from 12/2/2023 11 a.m. ET until 12/4/2023 1:17 p.m. ET and (2) Do I still need Google Workspace if my email is now at WordPress? Thank you.

    Hi @sarahcbcea8efbf, that will depend on the sending email server. Most will try again with sending the mail for a few days before giving up.

    WordPress itself doesn’t include email, but we do have a few options you can purchase for email here. One of them is Google Workspace, so if you like that you can keep your account through them.

    Or, if you are only using email and not the other Workspace features, our Professional Email option may be a good choice for you when your Workspace plan is close to ending:
