Critical Error Lockout

  • When trying to access my backend, I am redirected to the following message:

“Fatal error: Class ‘W3TC\UserExperience_Plugin_Admin’ not found in /hermes/bosnacweb01/bosnacweb01ap/b169/dom.pairingwithbeer89567/wp_site_1544544290/wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/Root_Loader.php on line 49

There has been a critical error on your website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”

I have not received an email regarding this, and it first occurred 4 days ago…

    How can I regain access??

  • Hi there!

I’m afraid that your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with Domain.com.

Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com here:

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

You can look for help at the community forums here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

http://wordpress.org/support/ is also a great resource for sites using the open-source WordPress.org software.
