  I couldn’t find any way of contacting WP support. The phone number 877.273.3049 goes to recording and there was no live chat option that I could find. Any advice would be much appreciated!

  WordPress.com doesn’t have phone support so you have been falling someone else. If you have a paid plan, you are entitled to live chat and email support. If not you can get help in this public forum.

  so, there is no way of getting in touch with WP before getting started with a new service?
