Changing Tagline Font in CSS
-
Hello,
I am trying to edit the tagline features for my blog to make it in Open Sans.
So far, I’ve come up with this code:.site-description {
color: #747ff5;
font-size: 1.5em !important;
font-family: Open Sans, sans-serif;
}The colour and size do change, but it doesn’t work for “font-family”. I tried several font combinations, without success. Could you please help me with this issue?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
The class needs to be a bit more specific in the CSS for this theme. Please try using this:
#logo .site-description { color: #747ff5; font-size: 1.5em; font-family: Open Sans, sans-serif; }

Thank you for the swift reply, it worked. I also discovered that adding !important in the end of the line solves it too.
Thanks again :) -
You’re welcome, glad i could help :)
Using !important isn’t generally recommended. The classes can be changed if CSS isn’t working due to specificity issues.
