Changing favicon
-
How do I change the favicon with this theme? Isn’t it supposed to change automatically with the site logo? It’s not a broswer cache issue, I’ve tried with other browsers and it’s not working. There is no ‘Site Icon’ option either in this.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m not clear on what you mean. To us “favicon” means “gravatar” and they never change automatically. See here please https://en.support.wordpress.com/gravatars/

Will you also post exactly which site URL you are referring to?
https://blogsandpoetry.wordpress.com/ is a private site. Is it the site referred to?
Or are you referring to http://spiktinot.com/?

Hey! Thanks for getting back. Clearly stated that I need help with spiktinot.com in my original post. Also, favicon is not gravatar. It’s the tiny little logo that appears next to your site’s name in the ‘new tab’ area of your browser. Gravatar, as far as I’m aware, is not that, at all.

Timethief – just to clarify, a favicon is different than a Gravatar.
A favicon (aka “site icon”) visually represents a site, while a Gravatar represents a user, and more specifically, an email address for a user.
rushatimukherjee – I’m glad you’re set!

Thanks so much I did not know that site icon was what was meant. Bookmarked! -
What WordPress.com calls a “site icon” serves as a favicon (i.e. it’s the icon in the browser’s address bar), but our “site icon” plays additional roles too – that’s where it gets a bit complicated. But it’s safe to say they are roughly equivalent. :D
