change position of facebook like button in css
-
Hey everybody
I have customized the “white as milk” theme in css, and now I would like to add a facebook like button, but some of the button is cut off and it is to far to the left…
where in the css do I change to position of the like button, it can’t seem to identify which part of the code it is under. my blog is http://mettelise.wordpress.com
I hope you are able to help.
Thanks

The “like” button is actually placed left aligned and is at the left edge of the main post content area. It looks like it is out of alignment because your videos are slightly smaller than the width of the post area. Add the following to your custom CSS.
.sharing { padding:0 0 10px 10px; }
Do note that if you have a post with standard text in it, then the like button is not going to be aligned with the left edge of that text, but inset 10px to the right.

Dear Sacredpath
Thank you so much!!! you rock!
But a new problem has occured.
The danish version og the FB like button is called “synes godt om” and this makes it a very big button, and my site cuts the right end of it…
I have a picture of it that I can send you if you are interested, because you have to be on a danish IP address to see the problem.
Best regards

Can you upload it either to your blog or somewhere else and then put a link here in the forums?

OK, now that I know what I’m working with, I’ll get the code to you shortly. You might have to adjust a couple things, but I’ll tell you what those are.

You know what, I can’t seem to get this to work properly, and it is actually something that staff needs to fix anyway since other Danish users are going to have this issue as well.
Contact staff at http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ and include the link to the image so they have something to work off of.
