Can't get rid of an image

  • I have been trying to get rid of an image from my Blog page. It just wouldn’t go. What should I do? The page also shows the word “Image.” Thank you.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there,

In your dashboard go to Posts > Visionary (your published post)
Then in the editing screen look for the Format module on the right
and change it to “Standard” -hit “Update” afterwards.

Let me know if this helps,

    greetz~

  • Thank you, Cristovaov.

I tried that, but unfortunately it’s not working. I want to remove the top photo, not the photos inside the post.

    Cheers

    Abdul.

  • Please, can you double check
that the post format is set on “Standard”?
I’ve reproduced your trouble and above solution did it.

Alternatively, create a copy of the post:
Go to your dashboard Posts>Copy a post,
Make sure you the writing helper is ticked under ‘Screen Options’.
Select the Visionary post, set the post format on ‘Standard’
publish on the day of today. Check if the same thing happens.
if all is good you can delete the old post first and set your publication date back to its original afterwards on the copy.

  • If you mean the airport image, that’s your header image. You replace it with a new one in Appearance > Header. You delete it in Media > Library.

  • Thank you, both. I will try these methods. Cheers. Abdul.

  • I was finally able to change the image by choosing different photos on different pages in Appearance> Header and clicking on random.

Thank you both Cristovaov and Justpi. Abdul.

  • Sorry for the misunderstanding.
I was convinced you were talking
about the image text above your post.
Glad you found a solution with @justpi.
    -cheers
