Cannot transfer domain

I am trying to trasnfer my domain to WordPress but am getting the following error.
This domain cannot be transferred to WordPress.com but it can be connected instead.
Plese let me know what to do to fix this.

Hi there @anyotherinquiries, I’ll check on that — if it’s locked from a recent contact update, or if it’s a premium domain, that can get in the way of a transfer. Would you know if either of those situations apply?
