Can you remove own comments from the “Recent Comments”

    Hi, I just added the “Recent Comments” widget on my sidebar – see http://simstate.wordpress.com

    Is there a way that I can remove my own comments(which are replies to other comments) from this list? I want to showcase the people leaving me comments, so I don’t like seeing my own comments there.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Not in WP.com as far as I know. You might try some funky work with threaded comments, but as far as I know it hasn’t been tried yet.

    But showing your own comments there is a GOOD thing, actually, because people realize you replied to them and they feel better and want to check it out. A blog owner’s comments are ten times more interesting to the readers than any other reader except themselves.
