Can I keep my Blogroll if I turned on AdWords
-
Hello,
Not long ago I updated my Blogroll to include pictures for each site. I am not receiving any money for my Blogroll listing, but they might look like Ads. When Reading the Terms and Conditions for AdWords, I noticed it said no other Advertising allowed. I am unsure if I need to take down my Blogroll now that I am trying AdWords.I am just trying Adwords for fun. Which is funny because I decided to pay to get the Premium Plan to get rid of Ads. I am just a little curious if I can manage to make money from my site… perhaps paying for the Premium Plan.
After turning on Adwords I visited my site to see what the ads looked like, but couldn’t find any Ads… perhaps it takes at least an hour to process.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You cannot use Google adwords on any wordpress.COM hosted site without inviting suspension of the site.
No blogger initiated advertising is allowed on WordPress.COM hosted blogs. The only advertising program at WordPress.com is called WordAds and it’s for blogs on their own domains.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/
http://en.wordpress.com/apply-for-wordads/Advertising outside of WordAds at WordPress.com is not allowed.
http://support.wordpress.com/advertising/ Here’s what gets a blog suspended:
http://wordpress.com/types-of-blogs/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/advertising/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/affiliate-links/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/suspended-blogs/
http://en.wordpress.com/tos/1. WordPress.com allows bloggers to insert text affiliate links within post and page content to most third-party affiliate programs, provided they are not the primary content of the site in question.
2. Image affiliate links in posts and pages and any banners, affiliate links in sidebar or footer widget areas, are still considered to be advertising and are not allowed on WordPress.com blogs.
NOTE: A self-hosted WordPress site might be right for you. WordPress.org offers free software that you can install on a web server. You can upload and install themes and plugins, run ads, conduct ecommerce and edit the database. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.
Resetting your WordPress.ORG password http://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password
WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page -
Then why do they have a page to set it up as soon as you buy Premium? It would be a bad design to automatically lead people to sign up for AdWords if it were illegal. I didn’t do anything, but follow links from within WordPress.com.

Hey there,
I am unsure if I need to take down my Blogroll now that I am trying AdWords.
I checked and everything looks good. I didn’t see anything that would violate the Wordads ToS.
After turning on Adwords I visited my site to see what the ads looked like, but couldn’t find any Ads… perhaps it takes at least an hour to process.
Are you running any ad blockers? I get notification of the ads when I go to your site but my adblocker extension is blocking them. Let me know, thanks!
