Can I create a show/hide button?

I want to make a button that says ‘show’ or ‘hide’ that people can click on in order to view or cover the text. For example, if there’s a CW or a spoiler, I want to be able to hide that and make it optional for others to view it.

If you’re willing to “split” the posts so someone has to click for next page to load, this may help:

https://wordpress.com/support/advanced-html/#collapsible-content-accordion-effectJust note your email subscribers would get that text anyway, since the code isn’t supported in email. The page break block will stop what displays in email, though, so if you’d like you can use a combination of the two.
