Splitting Content
There are several different ways to split content in your blog posts and pages to improve readability, or just to style your content the way you like!
The More Block

With the More Block, you can truncate your blog entries so that only the first part of a post is displayed on homepage, archive pages and in subscriber emails. This formats your posts so it looks something like the image to the right.
Excerpts

Excerpts are ideal for creating one to two sentence descriptions of the content on a page or post. These excerpts can be used by different themes as a preview, in place of showing the full post or page content.
For more information on setting up an excerpt, see this support document.
The Page Break Block
Use the Page Break Block if you’d like to add pagination to a page or post. This can be useful if you are writing a step-by-step tutorial or if you’d like to split your page into multiple chapters, for instance. See the adjacent video for more information on how it works.
Page Jumps
Page jumps, also sometimes referred to as anchor links, are where you click a link and instantly get moved somewhere further up or down a page. The table of contents at the top of this page is a great example of how they work!
