    I can’t embed my Buzzsprout podcast.

    This website is one of the leading podcast hosts, and I think it would benefit a lot of people to have a Buzzsprout embed button.

    Hi there,

    Based on their support documentation, Buzzsprout only offers a JavaScript embed option. JavaScript embeds are not allowed on WordPress.com, except on our Business Plan.

    To make Buzzsprout embeds possible on WordPress.com for other plans, they’d first need to add support on their end for the oEmbed protocol – that’s where you embed content by just pasting a link, rather than a piece of code. oEmbed is the most popular and safest way of embedding content on websites, and the only option we support for embedding content on WordPress.com.

    If you want to contact their support to ask if they’d consider adding support for oEmbed, you can give them https://developer.wordpress.com/docs/embedding-on-wordpress-com/ for our guidelines on how to get them whitelisted on our end in return.

    I see they also offer a WordPress plugin. You’d be able to use that on our Business Plan:
