Blog views and likes low, blog seems hidden

    Hi,
    I have a blog and I’ve been blogging for almost 3 years now. However, I rarely get WordPress likes and views and it seems like my blog is hidden. I’ve been using tags, SEO, social media and all other stuff but it seems like nothing would really increase my blog views. I know I may seems like I’m so into views and visitors and likes, but it just seems like my blog is invisible and only certain people can see it or find it. I am using my own domain and it’s not from WordPress (bluehost) but it has all the features that help me use WordPress to make it easier to blog (maybe bluehost and wordpress collaborate, something like that). I make sure my contents have great readability and SEO. I put keywords in every of my images as well (alt, meta).

    So I hope someone can help me.. is it because I use my own domain? or because I use domain from bluehost? Because It’s been 3 years and it’s such a slow progress. And I’ve seen other blogs that gets 10-30 likes from only posting pictures or reblogging.

    it doesn’t look like michellefranclee.com is hosted here on WordPressdotcom’s servers and is using the standalone WP software.

    For help with your standalone WP site, you’ll want to head over to https://wordpress.org/support and check out the documentation and support forums there. I suggest you search first for SEO and traffic prior to posting in the forums as likely there are previous posts on the subject. If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums, you can register one on that page.
