Blog URL name issue

    I already delete the site holding the name that I want which is ‘zenithinfobank.wordpress.com’ under another account: (email visible only to moderators and staff)

    I wish to use the name for this account: (email visible only to moderators and staff). What do I have to do to get back the URL: zenithinfobank.wordpress.com?

    Can anyone help me out?

    Hop in your time machine and stop yourself from clicking on delete the blog. seriously that is the only way

    Once a blog name is deleted it is gone forever even from the original owner. You will need to choose a different name or buy and map a custom domain name to a blog

    zenithinfobank.wordpress.com is no longer available.

    The authors have deleted this site.

    I don’t get it. Why can’t I delete blogs? If it’s deleted, it should free up the name, right?

    When you deleted the blog you received several warnings that the name would be gone forever if you continued. You also had to confirm via email that you wanted the name / url deleted and gone forever.

    Imagine you have a blog for a while but then decide to delete it for personal reasons. We then let someone else take over the name. A year later you get an angry phone call from a friend or relative who has clicked on an old bookmark, reads something offensive, and thinks that it was published by you. This is precisely why our policy is, and will remain, in place.

    Yea, but there were practically nothing on the blog yet.. Sigh, nevermind.

    The deleting feature is very confusing, i must say. And the dashboard too.

    Is there any way to retrieve the name by any chance? If not, then I have no choice but to buy the .com version.

    You can buy the domain upgrade. Or you can choose to pay a host, buy a domain name, and use WordPress.ORG software. Or some other way to get your site online.
