  • Our domain name baxterlakes.net was hosted by another provider. I transfered that to WordPress and, apparently, the association with our site https://bxtrl.wordpress.com/ was lost. How do I get that set up again?

    It looks like the registration transfer went through properly and the domain is associated with your WordPress.com site.

    However, I’m seeing that baxterlakes.net still has Dreamhost nameservers. That’s almost assuredly what is causing the issue. These instructions should help you fix that:

  • @macmck – just to clarify, did you want the domain connected to the free site? Typically that requires a hosting plan too. You may have had one at Dreamhost, but you mentioned it was connected here before. Can you clarify how you’d like thing set up?

    If you want baxterlakes.net to be the primary domain https://bxtrl.wordpress.com/ , you’ll want a Personal Plan, and then you’ll connect the domain to that. Let us know when you have this and we can help with next steps.
