Add static text at the top of category pages in wordpress.com

Add topic to favorites
Hey,

I’d like to add a little static text at the top of my two category pages on this blog (“Recipes” and “Poetry”).

They’re set up how I’d like them, but would love to have a bit of introductory text at the top.

Is that possible?

In some but not all themes we can enter a category description which will display at the top of dynamic category pages.

Example here:
http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/category/better-blogging/

In those themes that do provide that ability we go to Dashboard > Categories and insert a category description and save it.
