accessing old site by former employee
-
Hello. I recently discovered a blog/site with my company’s branding that was created by an employee 6 years ago. We’re not sure who created it, and there’s no record in our IT or communications departments…so, we have no clue how to access it. Is there a way to contact WordPress to begin a process of deleting it? We can prove that we’re the organization behind it. No one’s touched it in years. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.

Hello kcoleman592686954,
Deleting a site is a do-it-yourself operation. Even so, you will need access to the site from your WordPress.com account. This may or may not be possible under the circumstances, but going further will require staff assistance.
I will flag this for staff attention by adding a modlook tag.

Hi @kcoleman592686954, click on this link and follow the instructions to get the ball rolling on this: https://wordpress.com/abuse/ (it’s not actually abuse, just a way to get you into the system and to the right group here). I would suggest clicking the Copyright button, or perhaps the Private Info.
