Where WordPress bloggers support each other with feedback and advice.
Have you just published a new post and are dying for some feedback? Are you redesigning your blog and could use some layout or design advice from your more seasoned peers?
The Community Pool is for peer feedback and advice. Looking for more specific information? Check out some of these resources:
- Learn, a series of step-by-step tutorials for those just starting out.
- All our posts on building an audience and growing your traffic.
- If you’re stuck for inspiration, here are our Daily Prompts and other ideas for writing topics.
- A roundup of posts on blogging etiquette.
Tap into the wisdom of The Daily Post blogging community and leave your question here in the comments. Others can then click through and offer input either on your site, or in the comments here (feel free to indicate which you’d prefer).
Looking for more information about custom domains, advanced design options, and other enhancements for your blog? Find the WordPress.com plan that’s right for you.
Are you a new blogger looking to share your very first post? We have a special forum for bloggers just like you in our weekly First Friday posts.
To help us make the Community Pool a productive space for discussion, here are some tips and guidelines you might find useful:
- While you’re not required to, we encourage everyone who requests feedback to also reply to at least one or two other bloggers who need some help. Spread the love!
- The Community Pool comments section can get quite big — and starting duplicate threads doesn’t help. Thanks for not posting the same question more than once, as well as for not starting numerous threads in a single Pool.
- If you’re looking for quality feedback, be as specific as you can. Questions about a particular post tend to draw more comments than ones about entire blogs. Questions about specific design elements are more likely to be answered than ones asking for general layout advice.
- We discourage leaving links without a more substantive message or question. These are often overlooked by other bloggers, and we frequently remove them to make the comment reading experience smoother. Also note that including multiple links in your comment might automatically put it in the moderation queue, which will delay its publication.
- Please keep all comments civil and constructive. The idea is to have fun — it’s a pool, after all!
- To keep from losing your place in the comment thread while you visit others’ blogs, right-click on a link to open it in a new tab or window.
- If you haven’t looked at our Commenting Guidelines in a while, now might be a good time.
- No running on the deck.

I try to emulate photos I , myself like. I like the type of photography I see on Gardenista/Remodelista, personally. Simple settings, of books, in a real life setting, or just nice, straight on shots of the book covers.

Hi everyone! I have a pop culture blog and I recently wrote a post about how Disney has plans to adapt the Disneyland/Disney World ride the Jungle Cruise into a movie, and I would greatly appreciate some feedback! One concern I have is, is the post too long? I had originally planned for this post to be about 750 words, but I started to get carried away. Let me know how it is!
Thanks! Happy blogging! 🙂 PS – if you are looking for feedback I will definitely return the favor!

I will tell people here it is worth a read, and of course I am looking for feedback.

Hello everyone,
My latest post is a kind of a rant against the world injustices that main stream Muslims face nowadays. Check it out, I hope I was successful in expressing some of my feelings as one of them.
Thanks.

Hello! I’m Sage! I don’t know if I should be in the pool because I don’t know how to swim :). I wrote a poem about it https://letterstomysefl.wordpress.com/2017/09/23/i-dont-know-how-to-swim/

I enjoyed the poem and the image with it was striking. Regarding the pool, if you can’t swim, you can always dangle your feet in the water or stay in the shallow end 🙂 https://gracelead.co

Hey there Sage! I’ve stumbled on your blog before, and I have I say you have a gift for having awesome simplistic diction. Your imagery is also sharp, too. Why aren’t I following you? I’m going to correct that error right now! 😃💫
LikeLiked by 2 people
Thank you! I followed you some time ago. Also, is simplistic diction a compliment coming from somebody who writes posh and cultured language adventures? 😃
LikeLiked by 3 people
*giggles* yes indeed it’s a compliment! I feel like simple language is awesome because it allows a wider audience to appreciate. Posh and cultured seems more pretentious 😉 But yes; definitely a compliment!

Hello to all the readers and writers out here!
Have you read Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen? Well, I have and I love the book! Infact, I am a big fan of the works of Jane Austen. It just provides you with so much insight of how the things were like in the homes and how families dealt with the members back in the eighteenth century.
I have recently done a review for Northanger Abbey and I would love to know if you liked the review! Maybe, you’ll want to read the book!
Here’s the link:
I will be posting book reviews and all the other book related stuff under a new segment that I have released, every week!
With love,

That’s a nice review, just enough information to give us a sense of the book. At this point in my life, I mostly read non-fiction; however, I will put Northanger Abbey on my list of possibilities should I venture into fiction again. https://gracelead.co

Sharing my latest post with you. I recently saw Norwegian singer Charlotte Dos Santos make her Los Angeles debut. She has been making noise since the release of her Cleo EP this summer. She’s remarkably talented and I highly recommend her music. Here’s my recap of the show.

Thanks for sharing those tracks. Thunderstruck made me think of what Jimi Hendrix would have been like playing the cello – intense, focused, exceptionally skilled. The “audience” reaction was priceless. Shape of My Heart was exquisitely beautiful, so soothing. Mombosa was creative, energetic, earthy, and stimulating. https://gracelead.co

Hello!
Often times, we get lost in the sights of past as delve in the memories, remembering the sweet moments. We start ‘living those days’ again. Infact, we even start pondering over all the times we could’ve lived a bit more enthusiastically and all the times we could’ve just laughed. Isn’t it?
I recently wrote a poem which portrays what I go through while thinking about those times and I would love to know what you think about it!
Here’s the link:
