Where WordPress bloggers support each other with feedback and advice.
Have you just published a new post and are dying for some feedback? Are you redesigning your blog and could use some layout or design advice from your more seasoned peers?
The Community Pool is for peer feedback and advice. Looking for more specific information? Check out some of these resources:
- Learn, a series of step-by-step tutorials for those just starting out.
- All our posts on building an audience and growing your traffic.
- If you’re stuck for inspiration, here are our Daily Prompts and other ideas for writing topics.
- A roundup of posts on blogging etiquette.
Tap into the wisdom of The Daily Post blogging community and leave your question here in the comments. Others can then click through and offer input either on your site, or in the comments here (feel free to indicate which you’d prefer).
Looking for more information about custom domains, advanced design options, and other enhancements for your blog? Find the WordPress.com plan that’s right for you.
Are you a new blogger looking to share your very first post? We have a special forum for bloggers just like you in our weekly First Friday posts.
To help us make the Community Pool a productive space for discussion, here are some tips and guidelines you might find useful:
- While you’re not required to, we encourage everyone who requests feedback to also reply to at least one or two other bloggers who need some help. Spread the love!
- The Community Pool comments section can get quite big — and starting duplicate threads doesn’t help. Thanks for not posting the same question more than once, as well as for not starting numerous threads in a single Pool.
- If you’re looking for quality feedback, be as specific as you can. Questions about a particular post tend to draw more comments than ones about entire blogs. Questions about specific design elements are more likely to be answered than ones asking for general layout advice.
- We discourage leaving links without a more substantive message or question. These are often overlooked by other bloggers, and we frequently remove them to make the comment reading experience smoother. Also note that including multiple links in your comment might automatically put it in the moderation queue, which will delay its publication.
- Please keep all comments civil and constructive. The idea is to have fun — it’s a pool, after all!
- To keep from losing your place in the comment thread while you visit others’ blogs, right-click on a link to open it in a new tab or window.
- If you haven’t looked at our Commenting Guidelines in a while, now might be a good time.
- No running on the deck.

Hello, my fellow bloggers! I’m writing a travel blog but I feel like I sometimes get too personal there about my realizations etc. – for example in this article I wrote lately. Coming up I have even more personal stuff about being lonely on long travels but I’m not sure if I should post it. What do you think about this one – is it too personal for a travel blog or not? I really appreciate every comment and opinion! Thanks a lot for your time and help.

Not only is it okay to get personal on a travel blog, I almost think it is necessary! That is what makes your blog different than someone else’s blog about the same place. I love your blog and gave it a follow, anything about travel I love, but when you make it personal, it gives your reader a chance to connect with you, the writer in a different way than just talking about the miles you hiked and the name of the trail that you were hiking. Keep on keepin’ on! Check out my blog if you want to, but either way, keep on keepin’ on!

Hey there everyone! I’m relatively new to blogging, but I have been writing a travel blog and have recently begun to try to mix it up with some photography as well as my more text-heavy posts. My latest photography post is of the CN Tower in Toronto, I would be grateful if anyone would have a look and let me know what they think 🙂

Hey everyone! I have a blog about my life and my thoughts about what goes on in the world. I’ve had my blog for a few months now and just hit 200 followers last week. I never in a million years thought that would happen. Feel free to check it out! 💙

Wow, 200 followers! That is amazing! How did you do that? I am having trouble in that area honestly. I am not on social media, which I think is one of the biggest reasons this is happening but I do have LinkedIn which has helped a bit.
Congrats again!

That’s a lovely tribute to your grandmother. You might want to do a quick proofread and check your punctuation. You have several sentences where the first word is not capitalized. https://gracelead.co

Hello Friends,
This week I will be sharing a post which is very close to my heart. I learnt a lot about life – how to tackle the ups and downs in life.
I hope it reaches you in the same spirit as it reached me when I discovered it!
So here it is,
Take 11
I hope you all will like it 😁

I think your point is good about having someone simply listen to us. Regarding the beginning of your post, it would grab attention faster if you removed the first two paragraphs and jumped immediately to the story, “I had major problem…” https://gracelead.co

You love the city which has nurtured you to what you are today, irrespective of its good and bad part. For me that city is Delhi,India or rather lets say ‘Dilli’.
My next blog post is dedicated to this Dilli, this time , in a poetic way ! Do give it a read 🙂
Would love to hear from you !

Hello guys, besides my travel blog, I also started a blog where I put my poetry – if I can call it like that. I would really appreciate some feedback so I can see what you think about my writing – you can’t rely on your friends and family to be honest with you, can you? 🙂

I’d like to invite everyone to come by and check out my poem of the week, “The Somber Sounds of Days Gone By.” It’s a little whimsical, and a little trippy. I meant for this to be a fun little poem, nothing too serious on the surface. There’s meaning here if you need to take something away, but if you can’t find any, don’t worry. Enjoy the poem for what it is. Comments and feedback are always welcome, and please leave them in the comments section of the post page, and click the like button on the post page. If you like what you see, feel free to browse around, and follow along so you don’t miss anything as I post several times a week. Thanks in advance.

Hello Everyone! I’ve tried my first blog on makeup. I would love to get some feedbacks.
The post is for the beginners who wish to do makeup but certainly don’t know what look to go with. Also, it is an extension to the No makeup Makeup look. It would be an honour if I get some reviews and positive feedbacks from you all.. Thankyou so much❤

Hi everybody,
I run a travel blog and have been looking for new approaches. I recently tried something new and interviewed a friend of mine who just so happens to play in one of the top Grindcore bands right now and has toured around the world. However, instead of asking him about his music I asked him about what it’s like to live on the road as a traveling musician. I’d be grateful if you could check it out and maybe share with me what you think about it.
