Community Pool

The Community Pool is for those of you looking for input, whether on post ideas, writing, blog design and layout, or anything else. If you have a post, page, or idea you want to bounce off someone, leave a comment. Your fellow bloggers can then click through and offer input either on your site, or in the comments here (feel free to indicate which you’d prefer).

Read on for the ground rules and to leave a comment. Zero to Hero folks, head to today’s forum thread to chat about the assignment, but feel free to seek other feedback here!

  • You’ll get the best feedback if you can be as specific as possible about what you’d like people to respond to or where you’re struggling.
  • Please keep all comments civil and constructive. We’re here to help and support one another, not to beat anyone down.
  • If you haven’t looked at our Commenting Guidelines in a while, now might be a good time.
  • To keep from losing your place in the comment thread while you visit others’ blogs, right-click on a link to open it in a new tab or window.
  • No running on the deck.

  1. Hello from New York, glad to be a part of the WordPress Blogger community. I am slowly getting into the hang of blogging about issues I care most about and just the process of writing down what I am thinking. It is quite liberating, if you ask me!

    Happy Blogging!

  2. Hi, I’ve been blogging since August and I’m really enjoying it. However, I’ve recently found that my stats have dropped. Any advice if this is Normal at this time if year? Any tips on how to maximise on traffic etc would be great too! Please have a look at my Blog and tell me what you think! Thanks Em x

  3. Namaste from India. I recently shifted my blog from Blogger to WordPress, and it is the best decision I’ve ever made. Apart from that, I really think that my blog is amateur and, you know, it doesn’t attract traffic. I wanted to write a blog to give myself a platform to share and connect with other people all over the world, but I am not really able to connect and to gain an audience. Will you please go through my blog, and tell me what’s wrong? I know that it is like the worst blog ever, but please be honest and straightforward.

  4. Hello all,
Watching the conversation here is awesome. I’m just have no words to ask 😀 But I do glad if some of you have one second to see my blog and leave suggestions, especially for the contents. I love learning and practicing English, so I created a page where I can put my notes about English. Do you think that it is not a “nonsense”, even if I’m telling other people about English, but I’m not a native English speaker (or an English teacher), just English learner? Thanks.

    1. I treat Categories like chapter headings. Tags are simply key words that are relevant to the post.
I write lots on Travel and Music so they are my categories. For tags I pick the artist/artists on music posts and travel locations – countries and places.

I enjoyed your latest post, Gatsby is one of my favourite books.
