What topics do *you* want to see?

We’re close to topic #100 and we’ve been remiss – One intention we’ve had at the bottom of our hearts was to build a community around blogging and developing ideas – its been too one way so far.

To change this, we want to post topics that come from you – what topics do you want to see? Leave ’em in the comments.

I know some of you have complained in the past about how lame some of our topics have been and the shameful anti-puppy bias we have at times expressed – here’s your chance to show us what you’ve got.

Topics we pick will include a link to your blog in our post! More traffic for you.

  1. Thanks for the opportunity to give you feedback.
Whilst I enjoy looking at blogs with great pictures, I want a story to go with them. I appreciate good food, but don’t want endless recipes and photos of plates of food.
I love a good story and learning about other blogger’s lives; we are blogging from all over the world, we have different cultures, different values, lots of hope and aspirations. Let’s celebrate them.

  2. Some topics I’d like to see:

    – If you could add a new improvement/feature to mobile phones what would it be? e.g. remote button to lock, unlock and start a car (no limits to creativity.
    – If the whole world stood still for 24hrs and you were the only one unaffected, describe in detail what you would do.
    – Give 5 reasons why you think more people should read your blog
    – Talk about your best birthday celebration/party so far.
    – Talk about the blogs that have inspired you to write some of your posts
    – Talk about your narrow escape with death (or a papercut)
    – Talk about your kryptonite/or the thing that you absolutely can stand or allergic to (I can’t stand the smell of nail varnish)
    – Talk about a firend who duped you or let you down (anonymously)
    – Talk about the very last person who called your mobile phone before reading this topic (including good and bad qualities).

Thanks to all the great post topics on this thread. I’m inspired 🙂

What I like best about WordPress, and why.

We could all go on and on about that. It is so easy to find a tiny flaw (are there any?) and so hard, sometimes, to see the enormous benefits…

    shadow.
    home.
    family.
    future.
    anger.
    procrastination.

  17. My fellow bloggers, you have so many great ideas! Scott can just sit back & relax for the rest of the year.

I’m experimenting with the genre of flash fiction, so I suggest a flash narrative of exactly 150 words. Three options:

    1) Write a flash fiction of your own choice,
    2) Write a flash fiction that starts with for instance “When I opened the cupboard to grab a glass…,” or
3 Write a flash fiction that ends with “I never spoke to him again.”

I like the idea of taking a photograph, preferably someone else’s where you don’t know the story, and write your own story. We could even swap photos.

I also like the one word prompt idea.
