Title: I’m Posting every day in 2011!

I’ve decided I want to blog more. Rather than just thinking about doing it, I’m starting right now.  I will be posting on this blog once a day / once a week for all of 2011.

I know it won’t be easy, but it might be fun, inspiring, awesome and wonderful. Therefore I’m promising to make use of The DailyPost, and the community of other bloggers with similiar goals, to help me along the way, including asking for help when I need it and encouraging others when I can.

If you already read my blog, I hope you’ll encourage me with comments and likes, and good will along the way.

  1. This is a great idea! I needed a motivation to blog more often. So I’ll take the “post a week” challenge.
    Good luck everyone!

  2. The challenge is very welcome. Way to go! Have missed out for two days this far in 2011 and I feel guilty about it. I want to be very disciplined with and committed to keeping a date with my blog daily. I just started blogging the other day, and I love it already….

  3. I just revamped my blog for 2011 too, so this is good motivation for me to be more consistent. I was blogging very regularly and my readership was increasing. Then I took a near 3 month sabbatical from writing…and Shazam! I’m back where I started at rebuilding my readership. So I think this challenge is about is building a habit so that you can be consistent in your writing. Thanks for the inspiration.

And how do I get those pingback links to my posts??

  4. A good way to start 2011. Although I was late on seeing this challenge, I want to take this one up to build up my blog. Thanks WordPress team for this!

  5. Coincidentally, my goal for the year is to post an entry each week of 2011. That said, of course, I’m signing myself up to this challenge! 🙂

  7. I set myself the goal of at least weekly blogging for this year before I even knew of this campaign…so I guess great minds think alike? 🙂 Definitely count me in for #postaweek for my main blog (ladyinthegreenhat.wordpress.com) and I am going to try to carry it on also on my other two blogs.

  9. I write everyday but mostly it’s in my personal journal though it’s often stuff I would like to share and/or publish. Is a blog the best vehicle? I don’t know. I’m kind of old-fashioned and keep thinking of getting it into print. But perhaps that’s a thing of the past.

Thus, I am taking this on at sixty (god, forgive me, but can’t quite get used to discriminating against myself because of my age!)

Thanks for the support, ideas, connections with others.

  10. I will do my best to post on a daily basis, but I want what I post to be impactful and informative. That is going to take some practice and as they say,”practice makes perfect!” Thanks for the inspiration!

  11. I love winter because is rough and it challenges you to be stronger, better, smarter, and it teaches you how to survive hostile circumstances and how to take you places that sometimes are impossible to reach, I love Winter.
Hey, the snowflakes are falling, the rain is pouring, the cold is freezing, the wind is blowing, those are my favorite calls.
Go out there and challenge yourself.

  12. Brilliant idea! Nevermore will I give in to inertia, ennui or talking ravens! Though you know, forgive me if I do go against my word, which has to be expected for one who keeps forgetting her usernames and passwords! I have made this one extra catchy. There can be no forgetting ‘parsnipfeet’!

  13. I want to try this too… I have great intentions of writing everyday, as my objective is practice, practice, practice! I have several ideas throughout the day on what I want to write about and say, however, when it comes to jotting down a few notes… I go brain dead. I have also enlisted in Yahoo’s Contributor Network to help although I am finding myself in the same situation. I think I will dive in and start the daily writing… Wish me luck, as I wish the best of luck to you of you as well!

My goals are to post read-worthy pieces, to lure new readers, and keep visitors coming back.

The best of luck to you all, and thank you to WP for this challenge!

  15. I’m new to blogging. It’s one of those things, like jogging, that I’ve had on the list to try for a while. Of the -oggings, though, I think blogging is the most likely -ogging for me to succeed in actually doing.

Best of luck to all the WordPress-ers. May your writerly juices keep flowing from an endless font of creativity. Or something like that. 🙂
