Most everything on WordPress.com is available for free. However, there are a few upgrades bloggers can purchase to enhance their sites:

• Domains — Purchase your own domain for your blog, or map an existing domain.
• Extra storage — Add extra storage for uploading of photos, videos and MP3s (podcasts).
• Custom CSS — Edit your blog’s CSS to modify layout, fonts and colors to your liking.
• Unlimited private blogs — Add an unlimited number of users to a private blog (the first 35 are free).
