Button 2 is a theme that’s as cute as its name. With detailed accents, featured images, and a soft color palette, Button 2 is perfect for crafters and designers.

Button 2 is responsive, ensuring that the transition between different devices and screen sizes is flawless for your readers.

Featured Images

Button 2 has options to display Featured Images on your main blog, archive pages, single posts, and pages. It automatically adds detailed accents at the corners for a sweet, vintage look:

Site Logo

Button 2 includes support for a Site Logo, which appears in the header above the site title at a maximum of 600 pixels wide by 150 pixels tall.

Custom Menus

Button 2 supports a Header menu for your site’s main navigation, and a Social Links menu in the sidebar.

Linking to any of the following sites will automatically display its icon in your menu:

Button 2 includes four widget areas: one optional Sidebar, and three Footer areas.

If there are no widgets in the Sidebar area, the theme automatically adjusts to a single column:

Custom Header

The Custom Header in Button 2 is located above the Header menu at a maximum of 982 pixels wide by unlimited height.

Page Templates

Button 2‘s Full Width, No Sidebar template gives your content plenty of space to spread out in a single column:

Formatting Images

Button 2 includes a special style for images. Adding a class of fancy to images in your posts or pages will display the image with a fancy corner treatment like the one automatically used for Featured Images. See examples and instructions on the demo site.

You can also add the same treatment to image blocks added with the new WordPress editor, by clicking on the ‘Change block type’ icon and picking the ‘Fancy’ Block Style:

  1. The main column width is 662 with an active sidebar, and as wide as 982 without an active sidebar.
  2. The main sidebar width is 245.
  3. The three footer widget area widths vary depending on screen size and the number of active widgets.
  4. Featured Images are displayed at 662 with flexible height, or 982 wide without an active sidebar.
  5. The site logo appears at a maximum width of 600 and height of 200.
  6. The custom header appears at a maximum width of 982; the height is flexible.
