zBench upper tabs going dark
-
Font issue on upper tabs when on that particular section. It’s not a browser issue or due to customizing the browser, it’s been this way all along. Here’s the problem. The layout is: zBench by zwwooooo – The website is at: newcoic.wordpress.com – In the upper tab section all tabs appear bright and legible until you visit any one of the sections. As soon as you’re into that section then mouse over the tab to display all of the pages, the links go wonky and dark. And, actually- to double check our facts I revisited the original layout page — the situation happens there also. To see go to: http://zbenchdemo.wordpress.com/ click on page, enter that section. Then mouse over the menu and you’ll see what I’m talking about. My question: is there any way to get around this by adjusting font colors somehow? Any assist you can provide will be most gratefully received.
Thank you.

I see what you mean. I’ve reported this as a bug to the theme team. We should fix it in the theme and make it so you don’t need a workaround.

Wow, thanks for the response. That would be great if you could look into making that change.

Hello, I just pushed out a change for zBench which should fix this issue. Please let us know how it works for you.

Thanks. Yea it looks much better. There is still a shadow that shows up and makes it look a bit fuzzy but it is definitely an improvement!

You’re welcome!
It looks like themes shadows are being defined by your custom stylesheet. I found the following:
.nav li.current-menu-item a, .nav li.current_page_item a { text-shadow: 1px 1px 1px rgba(153, 153, 153, 0.75); }
If you change to the following they should go away.
.nav li.current-menu-item a, .nav li.current_page_item a { text-shadow: none; }
