Can you please try clearing out your cache? Do you also encounter this issue in a different browser? for example Firefox or Google Chrome?

BTW – I get a confirmation email from yahoo every time I click on yes for permission. Acknowledgement of that still doesn’t appear in WP.

Sometimes there’s a corrupt cookie interfering with things like this.
Please try disconnecting, then clear your browser’s cookies: http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clear-your-cache-and-cookies
Once they’re clear, try connecting again.

Found an old account to reactivate – but, they say it takes 24 hours to complete reactivation.
You know – sometimes when I use “history” in Safari to try to return to the Yahoo log-in – I hit a page asking for a 7 digit authorization code. Does that mean anything to you?
Meanwhile, I’ll try to use that reactivated ID at Yahoo.

I’ll try Yahoo, this morning. Meanwhile – I just tried clicking on yes for authorizing twice in a row – and got this error message:
Yahoo! is unable to process your request. We recommend that you contact the owner of the application or web site to resolve this issue. [95025]
Meaningful?

That shouldn’t make much of a difference at this point.

Since I included screen shots of the responses received while trying to resolve connecting — I have no idea why “Steve” thought I was talking about a Yahoo Newws Blog.

Figured I’d try to start over – disconnected from Yahoo Updates at Settings > Sharing > closed browser > reopened browser and clicked to connect – and got the same old, same old.
All the responses say ” connection to Yahoo! Updates could not be verified. Please try again in a moment.” – but, I also receive an email verifying “You agreed to share your Yahoo! information with WordPress.com.
You can manage who sees your activities on WordPress.com. If you did not agree to share your information, stop sharing.”
Settings > sharing now shows me as disconnected.

Hm, still in the same spot then? Have you tried replying to Yahoo? I’m also confused by their response, it seems like they missed the point.

Sent a reply to Yahoo last night. So far, Nada, nuttin.
They’re too busy celebrating their linkup with CNBC on TV. Which is another reason why I watch Bloomberg. :-]
