WordPress Privacy – Content Removal
-
Hi, Hope you’re doing good.
My client personal information and photograph is published in an article on WordPress.com (Redacted) It’s not meant for public.
He want to get it removed. He submitted DMCA and got reply that this content doesn’t fall under DMCA. So, I sent him a WordPress complaint page link where there’s an option to report content related to privacy.
I want to know about the procedure and how long WordPress takes to remove the content? He submitted the request but didn’t receive any reply.
We both tried reaching the website owner via several ways and seems they don’t have access to this blog anymore.
Please let me know

The site’s content needs to be removed by the site owner, which is the necessary course of action in your case as well.
I understand you reached the site owner and they mentioned that they have lost access to the site. You can ask them to reach us on the help@wordpress.com email and we can help them regain access to the site. Once they have the access, they can help you by removing the content from the site.
Another way is to reach Google about indexing of the content. You mentioned that you did indeed filed the DMCA and it was rejected, but the following resources might have some useful information:
