How can I get rid of the WordPress W and the blue circle quilt from the middle of my page?

You’ll find the option to change or remove your site logo in Customize > Site Identity > Logo.

That “quilt icon” is actually your personal profile avatar (Gravatar). You can change that by uploading a new profile picture in your account settings at https://wordpress.com/me
The multiple “W”ordPress logos at the top of your site looks like you’ve used the Social Media menu location for your site navigation rather than the Primary location in a Custom Menu. You can change the menu location under Menus in in the Customizer

It looks like the WordPress logos are displaying in your Social Menu which you can find at: Customize > Menus > Social
If you’ve added Custom Links to this menu, it might be what’s causing those logos.
