Wilson theme – About
-
Hi
Im very new to blogging and wordpress so apologies if my question might appear stupid.
I have tried several times to upload an image to the About section, but it never appears after saving it? Text on the other hand is absolutely fine.
Thanks for any help
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Slight correction:
The said image does appear after saving it, but when I revisit the About section of my blog, it isn’t there. Only the text is there.

Rather than adding the image as a featured image, add it within the body of the page.
Wilson doesn’t display featured images on pages, although the featured image will be picked up by social media as a “thumbnail” when sharing the page.

Hi. Thanks for your reply.
I’ll see if I can figure out how to add an image to the “body” of the page.
When I select Customise, the only image option I seem to get is to change the logo. -
Go to My Site > Pages.
Find your About page and click it to open the editor.
Put your cursor where you want the image in your page.
Click the + symbol at the top left of the editing toolbar, choose Add media, and follow the prompts to add your image. Here a guide with screenshots- https://en.support.wordpress.com/add-media
Let me know if you get stuck at any point.

You mentioned curser so im now wondering if that might be the problem, as I only have my tablet until I return home in the new year.

Your screenshot shows the Customizer, where you can change things like the site title, fonts, etc. Posts and pages are edited somewhere else. :)
After exiting the Customizer, go to the My Sites link at the top left. If you look down you’ll see an item called Pages that you can click:
Follow my earlier instructions from there. There is a full guide and some screenshots here:
